Mr S P Lohia, Group Chairman, Indorama Corporation, Singapore started Indorama’s first manufacturing plant in 1976 in Indonesia. He has been the driving force behind Indorama’s global growth, which currently encompasses 66 manufacturing sites across 24 countries around the world. He is also the Chairman of Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited, Thailand. Indorama is the world’s largest producer of PET Resin, Bi-Component PP Fibers and Synthetic Disposable Gloves; Sub-Saharan Africa’s largest Urea and Phosphate Fertilizer producer and West Africa’s largest manufacturer of Olefins. A commerce graduate, he is a citizen of Indonesia (of Indian origin) and resides in London. He is a passionate collector of art, rare books and hand colored lithographs.
